Who I am
My website address is: https://www.letsbeavinyou.com.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site the data shown in the comments form is collected, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Viewers of the site will only see your comment and when it was approved. They will not be able to see your contact details.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment. That said, this does not presently occur.
I’m quite happy to not post your comment and do this fequently. Please let me know if you do not wish your comment to be published on the comments page.
Media
I do not allow uploads to the website. Visitors to the website must contact me for permission to download images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on my site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
I do not allow visitors to login to the site.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). I do not knowingly use embedded content from other websites, but for your information it behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
I do not share data with any third parties.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so it can be recognised and any follow-up comments approved automatically, instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data held about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data held about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Of course, in the context of the above, you will only get back what you have willingly given me, so you will know what this is.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
